A little bit about the cat... I enjoy the following things in no particular order.
Music, Anime, Aviation, Sports (some) my friends and those who are very special to me.

I'll share a few photos of my life away from this site in this thread.
Comments will be closely edited, questions should be logical and pertaining to this topic.

Nonsense will be dealt with accordingly.

Hi jacking of this thread is prohibited!!!

Of course this is the Internet and somethings will not be discussed here, period.

Ready? Here Goes...

Interesting. Up until now, any details about you as a person have been few and far between. I'm curious.

Do go on.

This is where I work and fly from.
Known as 1H0 by it's IACO designator.
It's proper name is Dauster Flying Field.
A.K.A Creve Coeur Airport in Maryland Heights Missouri USA.

This photo was taken 7 years ago before the new infrastructure was open to traffic. Hence the absence of automobiles on the roads surrounding the field. This photo was taken from 6,000 feet M.S.L or 5,550 feet A.G.L.

River pictured is the Missouri river.. Creve Coeur lake is in the foreground.

As you can see it's not a little airport but it has all the charm of a small village.

The airport houses on of the largest collections of vintage aircraft in the states.. The Field has a website it is HERE

The proper word is instrument panel..
As for the the woodgrain, All high line Beechcrafts use it ..
It's a status thing and a pain to apply.

My dad's 6' 11"

I'm 5' 7 1/2"

My mother is 5' 3"

But then... My dad isn't my father... my father is something like 5' 4".

EDIT: I'll explain here to avoid hijack.

My 'father' split up with my mother while she was pregnant, my 'dad' stepped in before i was born.

Pwnt. Though; rather good guess, I'll give him that.

Do you use the craft for just flying around randomly... or are there certain things you do?

At the moment it is my long distance transportation vehicle. Unlike the UK, the states can not be driven in a short amount of time. My friends live coast to coast and border to border. I also like being able to run my own schedule, something the airlines hardly are able to maintain.

There was a time not long ago that I ran an Air Charter service.. However it fell upon bad times, bad checks and was disbanded in June of 2006.

I do flights at times for The Air Care Alliance and Air Charity Network.

Those are on a as I can do them basis, work permitting.

Hai.. Prior to 9/11/2001 that was an acceptable route. However since then customs, governments, and general paranoia of that area does not make it friendly to American general aviation aircraft. Also at 170 knots in cruise that's going to be one very long adventure. It's about 20 hours by commercial airliner (JAL) form here to Tokyo and that's @ 500 Knots+. I'm not in the mood for that kind of excitement. Finally the northern Pacific's weather can be deadly at times to someone as small as I.

Now If I had one of these then that would be something quite different.

However they are not Cheap.
Spoiler:
2005 Gulfstream 550

Price: $ 59,900,000
Reg # N550GA Serial # 5097
*Note that is the price for a pre-owned 3 year old aircraft.*
