*Iris Shepard examines thread*

"Yes, I believe everything here is to my specifications. Now Jacob, be a dear and fetch your commander her machine gun. I've got mercs I need to kill."

Anyway, since I'm insane for Mass Effect, I played ME2 three times so far with three different characters (and plan to play it at least two more times):
1) Lyre Shepard = Basically me in space marine form. He's 100% Paragon, a Vanguard and romanced Tali (because I can't resist a girl who's into computers).
2) Iris Shepard = My favorite of the three, because I make a conscious effort to create a believable character. She's Paragon to her friends (most of the time) and Renegade to her enemies (most of the time). Her class is soldier, and she cheated on Kaiden by romancing Garrus, because Kaiden was a total jerk to her.
3) Jason Shepard = Named after Jason Todd, because he's my experiment in being a complete ass to everyone he doesn't want to get in bed with. He's 100% Renegade, an infiltrator, and romanced Jack, Miranda and Kelly. Sure, that means he cheated on Ashley, but he doesn't really care.

As for the new party members, my favorite is a very close tie between Mordin and the one that's a big spoiler.

Thanks, Pan!

It's actually pretty easy to make an attractive female in ME2's character creator. Making attractive males seems to take much more effort, at least for me. It doesn't help that I hate most of the male hair styles.

Fallout 3 is basically the polar opposite. You barely have to try to make a decent male character, but a female character? Prepare to spend, like, half an hour on that. Again, partially because the available hair styles (without using mods) aren't a great selection.

Dragon Age's creator seems to be the middle ground. A decent amount of hair styles, and it's only moderately difficult to make a pretty character of either gender (and very easy to make an average-looking character).

I'm a character creation connoisseur.

Bah, it's already been established that Pande has no fashion sense. Listen not to what he has to say.

I've recently finished ME2 on the Insanity difficulty with Iris Shepard.

And now I'll be playing the game for a sixth time with a new female Adept. Because hey, why not?

Mass Effect 1 and 2 are on sale today via Steam. ME1 is only $4.99, and ME2 is $23.99. If you've been meaning to buy these games, now is your chance!
