Hey guys. I’ve got something for ya to comment on. With the rise in the popularity of digital downloads from music (ITunes, Rhapsody, etc) to video (Netflix, Hulu, Crunchyroll, etc) the state of physical media (CD's, DVD's) sales has been on the decline.

There have been stories before about the future death of CD's due to digital music downloading, but predictions of the future of DVD's and Blueray discs sales as a video format don't seem to be as prevalent.

Do you believe that the decline in DVD sales (not just the bad US economy) due to legitimate digital downloads and direct to home DVD rental companies like Netflix have as a byproduct contributed to the decline in Anime DVD sales?

What could be the future of Anime if physical video media sales of any kind continue to decline in the US?

Is anime getting better?

Here's what I mean: Since its conception and to the present day, has anime become better or worse?
When I say better or worse, that includes animation, art style, storytelling, voice acting. Everything that makes an anime, an anime.
(and not just like, "Is Akira better than K-on?". I mean the general quality of the works being produced by various studios.)
