Unfortunately, it's true. This bill passed on the 8th of April.

Another black mark in the UK's shameful history of censorship. I can't say I'm surprised, but I am disappointed... and worried for my friends across the pond who face even more draconian government regulation than ever before. :(

Time to GET THE HELL OUT, for me. Ugh.

This country would have done far better under German rule, I think. Surely the Nazis wouldn't still have control.

Germany is CLEAN.

I do not think the Nazis did much to clean up Germany.

Why are we even discussing this?

Lets leave the Germans out of it. I do not know the path Australia is going to take over the coming years, as the current government has become notorious for wanting to 'protect' children from the evils of the internet by implementing banlists on websites and ISP monitoring. The thing is, there is a fair amount of monitoring inside Australia and a few people have been prosecuting for mass piracy etc. Companies have even tried suing ISP's for allowing customers to access torrents and pirated media, but that flopped.

Good bye, the ages of freedom. Just because those fat cats want to increase some more income to their already rich vault. Just because they want to protect their copyrights doesn't mean that they can take away OUR HUMAN rights. According to the 4th amendment, We have the right to secure our privacy. Except it is already lost back in 2001. This is the fruits of it. Welcome to the new world my friends.

Since this happened in England, I'm pretty sure the 4th amendment doesn't apply. I really don't think something like this could ever happen in the United States... groups like the FCC and ACLU would be working against it with all their might.

And the Bill of rights from USA come from the Magna Carta.

Wait, does this mean that Pandemonium, Joel in England can't download anime this week?

Look harder, Lazy. He is around. Circumstances in PC land are against him at the moment, but he's still here...
