How To Train Your Dragon
Apparently, this film has been getting universally positive reviews... a first for a Dreamworks Animation flick. Some are even saying it's as good as Pixar's films.
Is this true or just hype? I'm wondering if I should bother seeing it in theaters...

Oh yay. Just found out that I am 440km from my nearest IMAX cinema. How depressing...

I wouldn't bother seeing this in IMAX myself... too expensive. Regular digital is fine.

Digital...right. I'd have to travel about 400km (Adelaide) to go to a cinema that employed digital projection as well...

Well I've seen it and I'd recommend it. I'm not quite sure how much weight the opnion of a stranger from the internet holds, but there ya go.

I saw it last weekend. It was a solid movie with only a few minor weak points. Overall, I'd give it an 8/10... great for both kids and adults.
Oh, and it had some pretty kickass dragon fights.

It's worth the wait. I loved it and thought it was definitely one of the best computer-animated movies I've ever seen.Kagami wrote:Looks like I am going to have to wait for it to come out on DVD...
