Re: The Shock of Suzumiya Haruhi - novel 10
your not alone there, i read the novels off baka-tsuki a year ago. im ticked off that all this is because of money. It (the novel) is going to sell bucket loads of copies anyway, so why argue over the final buck???

Authors are often monumentally underpaid/overpaid.
I'd rather he were paid what he deserves for actually changing a lot about my life, to be honest. I'm fine waiting if I can be sure he'll be paid.
Unfortunatly I can't. ¬¬;

Japan especially is extremely bad about giving credit where it's due.

Do you trust the translation? I certainly don't trust the source, so I'm not going to bother. Besides, I don't want to spoil it for myself, would rather wait until I can get my hands on the real thing, and if that means ages more time waiting, then so be it...

Re: The Shock of Suzumiya Haruhi - novel 10
Well, judging from the thread the poster has some cred, but I guess that doesn't count for much on the internet. If it does turn out to be a joke, well that's the beauty of the word 'apparently' I suppose.
Edit: seems to match up with some pictures that were in the Sneaker issue in which it was originally published. Looking more legit, but it's understandable if you a) don't trust it at this point and b) don't want to spoil it.

A huge novel coming out after a long hiatus which adds to an already lengthy series. I hope it isn't, it just seems like it. To me at least.

Re: The Shock of Suzumiya Haruhi - novel 10
What if its not the end of the series, but just the start of something new in the series. A "Season Finale" if you will.
Then again, it could just be be a really long book for no real reason other than to finish the story idea hes got going in it.

True, it is better to end on a good note than drag it out too long.

It better involve some kind of UNION to beat the ANTI SOS with a FINISHING MOVE or it will be ultra lame.
