I run my xbox through my pc. a computer screen has similar res to an HD tv, if i remember correctly.

Though you really need the RAM to forward every screen. TVs sacrifice resolution for fps.

maybe. but there is something gobsmackingly cool about playing on a really large LCD, and those bravia's really handle the graphics well

Actually... that looks odd. The actual window wouldn't screen capture, so i had to use a screen taken in dScaler. That was then STRETCHED into place where it should be. It actually looks better than that x3

I have an olde worlde monitor, with it's rather bulky size. It's 15".

ok. just dont go cheap when u upgrade, like i did. I learnt my lesson. viewsonic is bad.

I do intend to get new things for my pc... but an external harddrive, more ram and a new motherboard are higher priority.

depends on where your buying, or how the quality of the bits involved. I wonder if its more expensive in UK? further away from china?
people blabber about the cost of consoles, but when it comes to PC upgrading, its usually much worse cost wise

does the xbox360 update its firmware every few days? cos that ticks me off about the PS3. trying to play cod4 online and it wouldnt let me get in.

oh and rainbow 6 las vegas for the PS3 hasnt been ported well from the PC.
to make a long complaint really short: it sucked; graphics, interface, loading times, everything. sucked.

ubisoft has gone downhill, only game worth noting is assassins creed

i agree with that too. chaos theory is one of the only game sequels where they built on the good points of the second game and made them better.
