Re: Cosplay.
i agree. I also feel the need to point out:
MoSH: 'Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi' ...no. it's English, we use first name first. I didn't even get what MoSH was until reading the topic.
SHnY: yes. 'Suzumiya Haruhi no yúutsu' ...yes. correct romaji.
TMoHS: yes. much more recogniseable O.o

They don't flip our names around, so I never have figured out why we flip theirs...Pandemonium wrote: MoSH: 'Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi' ...no. it's English, we use first name first.

Because the English language was never made to respect other cultures, I'd assume. We, the English, had an empire. What should we care for other cultures? if they can't conform to OUR rules... screw them.Nagato wrote:They don't flip our names around, so I never have figured out why we flip theirs...Pandemonium wrote: MoSH: 'Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi' ...no. it's English, we use first name first.
Probably the original reason, at least.

Lets see the topic is Cos play?... Yeah that's what it says up there...
Mikuru FTW

Enjoy the magic of every sunrise.
Wonder at the sight of snow.
Appreciate the joy of living in the now.
Upon tomorrow live a new life for a new day.

Heh, Mikuru actually looks good written in hiragana. Haruhi definitely suits katakana though.
And now for the obvious: 8D kyaa!

I figured as much. I was simply pointing out that the Japanese had a rather self-righteous empire of their own around the same timePandemonium wrote:Nagato: I'm not the most proud Englishman ever, it has to be said.

True, didn't think of that. o.o
Eastern culture has always been a little more 'nice' than ours, i guess. Probably because people often vanished, if they weren't. back to my post in Spam Spasms, i guess.
