The Kitchen

Post by Taiga »

Ok; while I'm not entirely sure how successful this topic will be... I'll do it anyway.

This topic is to be a discussion of foreign foods, how they're made and... if you can... entire recipes.

Post source if a recipe found online and don't make things up, damnit!. nobody wants to waste ingredients on something you made up on the spot. Only post things you KNOW are good. also... I expect more than just curries!

Ah Adobo, a staple meal of Philippine families, is fairly cheap, and tastes pretty good if you do it well. Ok granted, it's adapted Spanish cuisine, but meh, the taste and texture varies from place to place where it's been localised.

Sadly, most of the good food I can think of require roasting over a spit, which most people here can't really do.

Just so lazy gets the idea, his posts are blocked by default off my side, and it will stay that way.

my mind never strays far from food

tandoori chicken breast cooked on the BBQ is one of my favorites. As for what tandoori sauce is, i dont really know. it comes in a jar, but i always thought tandoori related to food cooked in a tandoor oven. regardless, it tastes really good.
