Some of you probably know of Higurashi. Apparently it's second season is currently in limbo due to a death somewhat similar to a plot-line.

Seriously,why do people keep blaming these things on entertainment?

If someone is capable of murder,they are. Everything else is just icing on ttheir psychocake.-.-

This mirrors what happened around 9-11. Everybody was censoring or delaying their product for fear that the public would find it offensive. Remember movies where they cut the World Trade Center Towers out of the New York skyline?

Yeah,I remember everything from films being cut to music videos being banned/altered. I suppose on some level I can understand out of respect,but It's hard to see the media anywhere tying any show to a tragedy as any more then a cheap ratings ploy.

Anime episodes in Japan air on several stations throughtout the week. Just because one station chose to do this doesn't mean they all will, so we my still get our weekly dose Rika getting screwed over... it'll just be a little later than usual.

Looks that way,unless fan demand goes up enough to get it out through some marketing miracle.

At least there's the fansub but I was looking forward to that..
Especially with the first season already almost entirely released on dvd.-.-

While the American release of the first series is still airborne, the issue seems to be clearing up elsewhere.

Actually,Cooking with Crazy Rena sounds like a great idea for a show.
