>Othello
>Chess
>Cluedo
>Draughts/Checkers
>Tic-Tac-Toe/Naughts & Crosses

I concider the latter a board game even if you don't.

Risk is my favorite board game. Come to think of it, it's the only board game I ever really play...

Othello' bugs got me. I play my Japanese friends constantly. I'm getting fairly good at it.

for me it would be:

Chess ( i suck at it but its still fun )
Axis and Allies
Checkers ( often turned in to a drinking game )
Monopoly ( play mostly at family gatherings )
Scrabble

i as been wanting to take a shot at the Battletech board game but none of my friends are interested.

I suck at Chess too. I'm getting quite good at Othello though.
