You really need to link to images too big... putting them in a spoiler tag doesn't stop them being on the page.

Anyway...

Really curious as to what these screenshots are indicating.

i finnaly decided to watch this series and ive just finished, and i have to say its definetly as good as its made out to be ^^ its definetly the best anime ive watched (period).

although, im slightly disapointed with the random blunt ending >< but beside's that i loved it and as everyone else said i would definetly recomend this to an anime lover of any genre!

the whole series was full of random blunt stories, so in that sense it was a fitting end.
yeah, this is probably my long term favorite series, it never disappointed, always put a grin on the face.
have you seen the ova, maikeru?

I've been told off by Yuki about this in the past. No requesting fansub links to licensed material. I'm pretty sure the OVA will be licensed, since the rest is.

Bad Chris, for answering the call.

Yes. 17-18. There's a part of the (manga anyway... don't remember in the anime) story where Konata turns 18 and can suddently buy all these eroge things she's been getting her dad to get her. Little cousin and her friends are a year younger, so 16-17.

(yea yea that parts funny when Kagami come's out with (Konata say's she's 18 and can now buy 18+ game's) "Konata, what's the point you allready have those game's cus you make your dad buy them" (konata glooom's))
i thought so;;thank for that

Written by Bandai Entertainment
Monday, 02 March 2009 22:03

March 2, 2009 (Cypress, CA) – Bandai Entertainment Inc. and Kadokawa Pictures USA announced at Wondercon that the LUCKY STAR OVA would be released in North America.

Based on the manga by Kagami Yoshimizu, Lucky Star has already been adapted to anime as a 24 episode series currently available on DVD from Bandai Entertainment and Kadokawa Pictures USA. The OVA (Original Video Animation) features short anime vignettes of the series characters. Lucky Star's main character is Konata Izumi, a lazy high school girl who isn't interested in anything besides anime and video games.

Information on the release date and spec TBD.

Hmmm!

(random point) i think ive already said this but;;;When i watch dub's for either; chibi, or comedy (and some other's i can't be bother to specify) anime, when they speak i either;;; turn it off and look for a sub, or (most likely if i realy like it) think about how to end my life quikely so that i don't have to handle the pain ^^;;;;; and lucky star is a good example of this ^^'

i agree, the english dubs dont work because our sentence structures are larger then japanese or something, ive noticed that to keep up with the animated mouth movements the english seiyuu (whatever) has to speak very quickly, therefore ruining the effect. this brings back the memory of that haruhi ep1 dub where haruhi is explaining to kyon why she changes her hairstyle. haruhi sounded....ok in english, but kyon....good god it made me cringe.

*right click....delete*

it goes for any dubbing. i prefer to watch french films in french, with english subtitles. makes more sense because you also get to hear the actors voice.

if youve seen digimon in english, you know exactly what i mean. still shudder at the memory and that was years ago. at least pokemon worked in english. dragonballz as well. and yu-gi-oh wasnt bad either, except the storyline was *cough* crap *cough*

It was harhi's voice that annoyed me most in the dub, actually.

Too bimbo-like. Yuki's was terrible too. Kyon... i didn't really care... he's male.

well, it think haruhi's voice is rather good in the dub

I'm gonna get killed with this comment but ah well. I never watched the sub version of Haruhi because I liked the dub version. I don't care what people sound like in dubs (unless they do sound rediculous). If what they say is right then I don't have a problem with it. And Kyon's voice was great in the dub. Crispin Freeman is amazing...

one second im there, *blick* im gone,...a figure with black hair pale skin and deep blue eye's appearse behind him with his knife pressed lightely and his palm pressing against joels temporeraly paralyzed spine...
(ignore the above cus i was borad)
cool if thats how you watch your anime fine im not gonna complain so i don't think youll be killed (well theres lady and pandamonion....they might hehe)
i agree kyon's voice is not bad either

I was brought up to respect other peoples opinions....

...but cmon! o.O watch the original and see the differences. Aya Hirano and Tomokazu Sugita were excellent as haruhi and kyon. I personally believe that alot of the jokes and expressions were lost in translation, and they make up alot of the story. same goes for lucky star! What makes anime so good in its original japanese form is the acting is so seamless with the animation, so you truly believe haruhi sounds like aya. rather then mismatched voice to mouth movements which annoy the hell out of me.

'god knows' in english....ug, no where near as good.
i seriously believe (and i just watched snippets on youtube to check) that the english dub is no way near as good in terms of character expression and acting as the original japanese equivalent. Its just painful to watch.

And another reason why I liked the series so much was because of Aya. Shes an excellent seiyuu. Joel, your missing out on a full suzumiya haruhi immersion here...

if you cant be bothered downloading the original series ill MAIL IT TO YOU! and then you can watch. and decide...i guess.
