Apparently this character (Chris of suikoden 3) precedes Sabre by about 3 years though

have a picture for comparison

That's less practical 'cause that big dress seems like it would get in the way (why would you even have it?) and those paper thin bits of armour on the sides of it would be pretty useless.

Is it really that hard just to design cool sexless armour and stick it on a woman? (hint no)
