I had a dream as well.
In this dream, I was going to the dorm room of a friend of mine (for anonymity sake, we'll call him Nick). Nick's dorm was on the north side of a college campus. As I approached his dorm, I noticed a lot of smoke in the sky. I arrived at his dorm to find that the building just across the street to the north, the Chase Bank Building (which, for some reason, was about 40 stories shorter than it is in real life), had a fire burning on one or two floors about halfway up. After watching the fire for a minute, I went up to my friend's apartment.
Now, my friend lived on one of the higher stories of the dorm building, making his dorm room about level with the fire across the street. Inside the dorm room, I found Nick and another friend (we'll call him Jerry) sitting and watching the fire on TV news. Since the blinds on the windows were shut, they had no idea that the fire was actually only a few meters away. I sat down and watched the TV with them.
A few minutes later, while watching the news report, I noticed the buildings structure begin to buckle, and the floors where the fire had started began to collapse. Realizing that the entire Chase Building was about to fall, I yelled at my friends to evacuate and pulled the fire alarm lever. We ran outside, and began running west through a rather thick cloud of dust and smoke. As we got about a quarter of a mile away, the burning building collapsed, and a huge wall of debris hurtled towards us. I yelled at my friends (and about twenty other refugees) to fall flat to the ground, face down, and cover their heads. I then did so myself, and the debris shot over us.
After the dust cleared a bit, I stood and saw that nobody had been hurt. We all stood, then proceeded to a shelter area about a mile away from the fire. There, we all sat as it grew dark and talked about how the collapsing building had probably destroyed Nick's dorm, and all of his stuff. Fortunately, he commented, his cell phone was still fine since one of his teachers had it. Could he borrow mine to make a call, he asked? I gladly lent it to him. At that point, the dream ended.
As is typical of dreams, everything was a little off. For example, my friends don't live in a dorm... they live in an apartment with me. The Chase Bank Building is not near the college campus I mentioned, and the dorm building is on the north side of the street, not the south. The building collapsing and wall of debris scenes probably came from images I saw on the news from the 9-11 attacks.
I'm not quite sure what this dream means, aside from "stay away from burning buildings".

Apparently... no matter how old you get... you still have dreams about being in school. At least my dreams reflect anime schools also... sounds a bit dull to me otherwise.

I hope to go as Shana this time, mind. It fell through last time when the costume didn't arrive.

Maybe you should take a sign saying 'Kiss me, i kissed Haruhi!'
I'd recognise you then.
ANYWAY! this has completely veered from the topic. We do have a few MCM/convention topics in Other entertainment.

Wuss. A kiss on the cheek from other guys is fine if you don't think about it too much.

true..but still odd...........um.............(topic, topic, topic)
....did you ever think that when you don't have a dream, you're acually haveing a dream but your brain is reflecting the fact that its run out of things to process in its bordemm when you sleep??
Re: Dream visualization

Actually it's a case of how deeply you slept. if you sleep too deeply or too lightly you don't dream.
Or you just don't remember them a lot of the time.

You may just be not remembering that you don't remember.
People with amnesia don't remember remembering.

okok but you get my point right?
becuase usually when i don't remember a dream, i remember that i don't remember and- yea
Re: Dream visualization

But that doesn't mean it's the case every time. You can't possibly know that you don't remember dreaming if you can't remember it. :3
