The common saying among Trek fans is "only the even-numbered movies are good," which is a surprisingly accurate statement, actually.Ryoko wrote:Prior to Star Trek, there were 10 other Star Trek movies. The first six were based around The Original Series, and the last four were based around The Next Generation. Only about half of them are good, though.

Re: Star Trek
That statement is MOSTLY accurate.
1. The Motion Picture: Crap
2. The Wrath of Khan: Epic
3. The Search for Spock: Fairly Good
4. The Voyage Home: Good
5. The Final Frontier: Abysmally Bad
6. The Undiscovered Country: Good
7. Generations: Crap
8. First Contact: Epic
9. Insurrection: Good
10. Nemesis: Crap
11. Star Trek: Epic
However, even the crap movies are worth watching IF you're a Trek fan... except for The Final Frontier, that is.

Re: Star Trek
Rumor has it that Star Trek will see an American DVD and Blu-Ray release in November or December, just in time for the holiday season.
