The only reason it's ever written Ren is for the Japanese name. If japanese had an Le character it's be written with it.

Len Kagamine
Alucard

Those names (bar the family names) are not MEANT to be written in Japanese... however in some cases they have to be, thus they become レン, アルカド and ライト. There's no Arucado, Ren or or Raito about it... only the katakana writing itself.

But yeah... think of it this way.

Your name is 'Michael,' right? In Japanese that's written 'マイケル,' but that doesn't make your English name 'Maikeru'... it's still 'Michael.' 'Maikeru' isn't your name at all.

The same with Len, Light and Alucard.

Since people have stuffed around on Chidori day, and not posted the right Chidori, and instead thought about SASUKE instead (fail, joel...oh so fail) then I feel the urge to post some more of the right Chidori. That sentence may or may not have made any sense...

Honestly... if I were put into a real version of the Haruhi novels, as Kyon... I'd probably get bored of asahina, give up on Yuki, get beaten up by Haruhi and end up chasing Tsuruya instead.
