Careful, Maikeru. That could be seen as playing moderator, which is against the rules. As is questioning the staff. It may not have been your intention, but I'd seriously consider being more careful in future.
However... returning to topic now. This means you have no reason to comment on this part of my post.

As for the topic...
Last night I dreamed I was explaining a dream to a friend.
The dream inside a dream then became the dream. Sort of like a flashback.
Originally it was a normal dream. Everything that follows happened twice, with minor changes:
The story was that I was, for some reason unexplained, on a cruise liner. I was enjoying myself until we were attacked by pirates.
I fell overboard and got shot at a lot (with a machine gun). I got hit, but it didn't actually do anything.
Then I had to avoid missiles that were going between the ships. They were travelling rather slow, mind. Every time one connected with the ship I had to swim like crazy while avoiding the other ones.
Eventually I reached the other ships hull. I climbed up (this one was now more of a pirate galleon than another cruiseliner. Still had guns though.) the wooden hull and onto the other ship. I then got shot in the leg (which REALLY HURT!!!) and fell unconscious.
Ha. Fainting in flashback in a dream!!
After that I was explaining it all to my dad... who was using a car as a boat at the time. he was knelt on the bonnet fishing with an air rifle. I had a knife tied to a bamboo cane. Then the flashback version happens.
The second time had sort of commendation on it... as if it was a game. In fact it was a lot harder and I was shot even more.
Ever experience pain in a dream? Sometimes you'll injure yourself and it actually hurts. A lot.
It ended with a pirate explaining how he took me prisoner and I coaxed him into letting me become part of his crew.
I'd probably have staged a mutiny... but I woke up after that.

yet another random dream for pand3-chan, although i do agree with the injury thing, once I dreamed that I was having a battle against...something, partnered with yuki (duh).
i won but when i woke up all of the vital places i was hurt in the dream were really sore (seriously), i think its the brain getting confused and transferring mental energy into physical energy and sending it though the nervel system.

I've never woken up in the pain. Maybe you were rolling around in your bed and the dream reacted to where you actually injured yourself?
I once fell out of a 4 story building in a dream. I hit the floor and it REALLY hurt. I was in pain all over. I had to TELL myself to wake up.
I felt very ill that day.

I've only ever jumped out of the second story of a building once. We were playing tag in some abandoned buildings. My friend was chasing me and broke his arm landing badly.
Oh how I laughed.

I just had a rather odd dream. It went like this...
The setting is the future, in a dystopian city that resembles the one from Conquest of the Planet of the Apes. In this city, anti-robot sentiment is running high, and the government has just passed several laws discriminating against androids. Meanwhile, one particular android (who resembled Jasper, only with purple hair) who I shall call Jasdroid, decides he wants to have a baby by another android. This is, of course, highly illegal, and after Jasdroid conceives the child, him and his mate are chased by the government. (The dream gets kind of fuzzy at this point, but it involved a chase scene on a beach). After giving birth, Jasdroid's mate is killed, and Jasdroid decides to give the baby to me for safekeeping. With the baby in my arms, I watch Jasdroid leave the city. Then, it is revealed that the baby is actually my cat, Pandora.

Last night I dreamed about various things. Most of which i don't remember so well after being woken up with less than 4 hours sleep in a really crappy manner. Sister was in last night. going to sleep at quarter to 5am probably doesn't help, mind.
What i do remember is that one of the dreams involved me sitting in my old school's computer suite talking to Ryoko over Skype.
a security guard comes up to me and tells me i shouldn't be talking in the computer suite as it's antisocial to those around me.
Since the there was nobody around the staffmember on duty in the suite said it was fine. The security guard didn't agree.
He says i should be doing work, so i show him my drawings i'd been doing while I chat. i tell him I'm doing an art course, but he finds any other paper around the room and uses them as an excuse to claim I was breaking SOME random rule.
I end up screaming 'there's 4 lights' at him. Damn you trekkies all around me, i swear i'll get you back! D:
Another dream had me trying to get msn messenger on my gameboy advance SP.

acronym for star trek 'the next generation', the series to which captain picard belongs to.
