Also, on a wikipedia page I happened upon (not sure of the original source, I'll look for the page again) it said that Haruhi book 10 was originally to be published June (or July, not sure) 1st 2007... this gives the idea that, by now at least, it's got to have been finished.

This gives rise to another idea... the final announcement for H2... what if that's a joint announcement for book 10?

You do that. I finish College for the year June 1st (I think). I'll start it then, when i have bugger all else to do.

Were I living in America, I'd still be in the penultimate year of High School. College is two years earlier for us.

some how i think its not fair....

the system here in aus is high school until your about 17 (year 12) and through the final exams you move onto university of your choice. im now in my penultimate year of uni, 3rd year out of 4
where the heck did all the time go? too busy watching anime i guess

man clannad was good. and soon school rumble season 3 is coming out too, saw that somewhere...

and lazysunside, college is after high school right? so isnt that like university? I think its different in the UK

but if you get the qualifications you can move up to uni... until whenever...

school till 17 College till 23-24 and an art school from nowhere(may be tokyo anmation) till...Only Haruhi know

Considering the source, it'd be understandable for the entire world to explode in a ball of fiery death; leaving only the little scrap fellow to drift endlessly through space alone. Don't forget what happened in Air.
On the other hand, Kanon was full of love and happiness if you ignore the Makoto arc.
