This little... project... seems to be picking up quite a bit of steam around some places. I've even heard talk of a retelling of the entire first novel with all the genders switched

Female Itsuki fits though, to an extent. Kyon's just too male.

All the characters are gender specific to this story, changing the gender alters the plot overall and how I view the relationships between everyone....giving me a headache
naaaaah, Haruhi is Haruhi, i.e. SHE'll always be my number one protagonist

Well... he is for one point in Disappearance. Though, that was written later.

I still think Itsuki was originally written to be female but the author switched at the last minute.

The ideas of gender changing was a good idea i think. i'll keep that in mind for reference.

Not sure I paid much attention to the picture of him. I generally forget there are male characters.

Of course... Kyon and Itsuki have been driven into my mind from the anime and constant appearance. I'd definitely need reference, when drawing the other males.

Personally I thought Fujiwara and the SC Pres. completely annoying and forget-worthy.
