Let me explain something to you:-

My request to have a comic hosted on here is a serious attempt at advertising my art, getting into the swing of deadlines, improving my art and, of course, helping get more interest in this site itself.

The reason I'm so behind in getting this done is that I'm an art student and, as such, have other things I have to do besides writing for this comic. I also have two other art-based deadlines I must meet, bar college.

Your rather lame approach to this comic (You seemingly refuse to take your time to WRITE the story completely and show no signs of improvement or even the resolve to do so) is frankly insulting. This is quite a big break if you can get it. I don't want to see any more polls asking about the story so far or such.

Like I said in another topic: Go join a creative writing forum, get your story finished. Then go get your drawing improved in an art one. I know of at least 1 good site for each.

If you get that done and come back with a good story; I'll be waiting with mine. Don't think I'm not willing to have them checked at the same time; I'm perfectly happy to make a competition out of this... but make sure you ARE competition.

If i came across as rude or insulting, I apologise. I have nothing against you as a person... but right now I'm about ready to wring your neck.

-Pan

...scratch that. Call me Kira. (Cookie if you get it)

Kira? that a pretty name. Very well time to get seriously. I will seek assistant from someone i know that are trust worthy. I'll write a real story and its gonna be long so lets depart from now. May be i'll start wat i was suppose to do 3 years ago...a deviant account ^^ and may be i'll seek for group in that site. Do u think its a good idea?

Kira? Pretty name? Hahaha...you don't seem to understand what "Kira" is Engrish for.

Yeah, when it comes to improving your story-telling and improving your art, you have to take it seriously. I know it may be strange to take it seriously if it's just a hobby of yours, but not fooling around is your best bet at making progress.

As for having to improve in both writing AND art...I'm not sure what to advise. I'd probably say try to get good at one, then the other. Take them one at a time. Maybe writing first, then art. Or vice versa. The key to becoming a good writer is reading a lot of books. Heck, I'd say that reading the Haruhi novels has made me a better storyteller and character-maker.

As for art, just read a lot of manga and watch anime, but above that, you have to practice. And not only practice, but push yourself to draw harder things. You might think, "Oh, doing details in the hair/clothes/whatever is too hard and won't come out right, so I'll keep it simple and leave it out." But try to push yourself to make the pictures better looking.

The name Kira is taken from the word for death. It's also the alias of Yagami Light in Death Note, though I actually act more like L/Ryuzaki than Kira.

Incorrect. Actually, "kira" means luster or shininess. The word has nothing to do with being translated from "death."

What I said is correct. Kira is Engrish (not English. Engrish.) for "killer." Seemed pretty simple to me when I first read DN. If you know anything about how the Japanese pronounce English words, killer becomes kira.

I do. I prefer to rest the pad on my knees than work horizontal.

I have a sugar obsession.

I rarely sleep. Though the bags under my eyes aren't as bad as Lawliet's... I wear thick eyeliner often.

I have a rather tangent-ridden thought pattern... but I can work pretty much anything out.

I'm better than you =D

[/end boasting]

Done this all by mouse. Drawn in ESL class when I have some free time.

The image is about the same size that the rules state anyway.

You need to focus on the proportions. Draw the initial figures naked then add the clothes afterwards... always a good way to get a hang of them.
