Feedback on Skins

Well, what do you think of the various skins and their banners? I'd like some constructive criticism. Also, if you have any PHPBB skins you'd like to see added to the site, tell us. I'm sure our ever-loving Admin will take a look at them.

My opinion: My favorite skins are whatisreal and Galaxian. Whatisreal in particular is the most aesthetically pleasing to me, thanks to it's transparency and starry backdrop. Maybe if we added a picture of the galaxy in the corner...

I like galaxian... but whatisreal can be strange to read with part of a picture showing through the text box...

The image on the AcidTech skins looks a bit out of place. It doesn't match the background or stretch to the borders. As much as I like Tachikoma Yuki, that particular one doesn't really work there. Maybe if it had a transparent background and were larger.

Other than that, I'm free of complaints.

Yeah...I really like (and am currently using) the AcidTechEx. I like my forums blue, for some reason...

That is three images (Left Right and Center)

(also the center is a fixed link run your mouse across it)

Which control the 4 Acid Tech Styles and I did do my best in trying to adapt it.

Ah Ryoko if you get a chance maybe WE need to fix that one too..

The site is optimized for laptops running 1024x768
It is also optimized for computers running several different non Microsoft browsers

Ideally when you have a wide screen you do not full screen your browser.
(but that Habit should have died with Displays that exceeded 1024x768 PX resolution)

Either way everything looks crowded at 2560 x 1600 pixels

My only problem would be the opacity of the boards for whatisreal. I quite like them all.

my personal favroite is swiftblue cas its a cool shade of blue and its got cool picture of Yuki and my second favroite is lavish because it really looks something like the SOS brigade would have.

There should be a one with a pic of the symble and the coulers on the bourd bit. :/

Unfortunately There are few compatible styles for the new forum software . some of your choices were not modified.. more before the upgrade, which will have the boards off line for several hours barring any disasters..
