only haruhi stuff is 5 of those random small figurines (2Nagato, 2 Mikuru and 1 Haruhi). Yuki is now on my desktop yay!
although my friend pointed out a big haruhi model for $30...after i'd spend my cash on novels dammit.

next convention for melbourne is called Manifest, in september. Really want a haruhi-ism shirt

Might I direct your attention to Cafepress? You can upload images, design your own T-shirts and they'll print them for you. They do good quality work too. :D

This probably won't help, but there's one in London, October 25th. It's called the MCM EXPO or something.....

As you find out more details or if after it's occurred, please post what you've found out.

I decided I was going to go to that one year. We were going to London one week in the summer a year or so ago and I thought we may as well go there one day. Bit annoyed when I found out we were to go on the monday after the convention was held... Post your findings though. Might be interesting.

Hmm... October 25th is VERY near my 18th birthday. 4 days in fact... and the beginning of a weeks school/college holiday usually.

see... we're not all bad.

I was considering going to MVM expo last year... and the year before that.

It's heavily associated with NEO magazine... which i was an active member on the forums of for some time. I also have a few copies of the magazine *prods desk draw to his right*

No it isn't. It's MCM expo. Movies Comics Media. It covers a wide range of things. There's quite a lot of anime/manga stuff but there's also a fair bit of sci-fi stuff. Also movies. NEO have a stall there, that's pretty much all the influence they have.

It's always pretty crowded.

Yeah, yeah. i have rather bad habit of mixing V and C.
__

The first time I knew of it NEO were a rather big contributor... though that'll be 2/3 years ago. Meh, maybe I'm mistaken, or NEO blew themselves up a little, ego-wise.

NEO were, and still are one of the main sponsers of the event if my memory serves me right. They have a pretty big influence on it. There are, though, a fair amount of main sponsers. On the adverts they put in their magazine, I've noticed they make their logo quite a bit bigger than the rest of the sponsers' logos. That would probably be what gives the impression they have more influence than most...
