I didn't want to start a new thread, so I figured I'd say hi in this one instead. >_>

So hi!

I'm Jessica Winter. I'm 18, and a Haruhi fan! :3

Please don't use old intro topics for introductions. Each intro topic belongs to one user... it's less confusing if you have your own.

Anyhoo, welcome to Project Haruhi!

Nice avatar, Winter. Welcome to the project. Here some welcome tea. Enjoy your stay at our little place. ^^
You can call me Kai or lazy in this forum. Nice to meet you!

Thanks, Lazysunside.

Actually, my name is said 'Jessica-Winter,' all one word. Both are my first name. My last name is Felgar, I actually don't like being referred to just as Winter, people used to do it to annoy me when I was at school. Just like to make that clear.

Well, welcome to our world.

May I call you Jessica?

So... anything interesting you can tell us about you?

If not... feel free to abandon this topic and post elsewhere. =p

Indeed I don't, Lazysunside. Jessica is good, I guess.

Well... I'm American. I'm 18 and I went to Greenway High School in Phoenix.

There's a Chinese restaurant chain called Great Wall Buffet. I've never been to one though.

Umm, well I don't remember ever seeing it, but that's a bit creepy- that three of us could already have met and not have known it.

Wow. I did not think there were any other girls on this site. Welcome.

I have never read Megatokyo. Is it good?

Welcome to the club! We sort of have a small-town feel around here. We may not have a lot going on compared to the big city, but we'll offer to cook you a nice meal and maybe teach you how to ride a horse. And then we can go down to the old water mill and swim in the river.
...
Sorry, I seem to have gotten lost in my own metaphor. Hopefully you got the point. XD
Gothlette wrote:I have never read Megatokyo. Is it good?
...hmm...how do I answer this exactly? I've been reading it for around four years now, and it's not exactly bad. On the other hand, I wouldn't say it's particularly good, either. To be more specific, I find it interesting, and I believe that Fred Gallager has skill; however, his mediocre dialogue has barely improved since he started, his story arcs move at a glacial pace, and he has an abysmal work ethic. I keep reading it hoping that Gallager will actually start pushing himself to improve, but--with the exception of the changes his art has gone through over the years--he seems to be perfectly happy where he is.

I'm one of the rare people who's in the middle, though, so your results may vary. Most people either love it or desperately want to see it burned in a fire.

I'm of a similar view, myself. Though, that said, I do follow it almost religiously. :p

Not to the extent of TMOHS though. xD

They deleted that piece off my DA recently, since it's not my lineart. I once actually asked fred Gallagher for permission and he didn't reply.

May ask again. =_=;
