Black Mesa Source

Black Mesa Source is a project some people have been working on for a while now and its nearing its conslution.(lol glados speech)
Basically they're re-creating half-life on the half-life 2 source engine and if you look at the trailer, they're not kidding.
I myself being a half-life 2 fan, I found this work pretty amazing and I can't wait for it to be released.

Black Mesa source looks interesting, since I am also a pretty big fan of the Half Life franchise. The original game, while great, is by no means a prequel to halflife2, as many believe. Yes it has Gordon Freeman and the world going to hell with the G-man holding the puppet strings, but if someone can make the revamp of Half Life fit into the universe and storyline that Half Life 2 mainstreamed, then we should be in for a treat.

yes they didn't really imply the 20 year gap between the black mesa incident and the combine's reconing.
