Billy Mays, widely regarded as the most successful television pitchman in history, died today in his Florida home at the age of 50. The cause of death is still undetermined.

Billy Mays will forever be remembered for his endearing (some might say annoying) commercials in which he hawked a variety of household products, utilizing a direct approach that involved both loud vocalization and bad puns. This unique style made him the most successful pitchman on television. He was also known for his kindheartedness and generosity.

My mates and I were always making fun of this guy... but now that he is gone, I guess I miss him.
