Those are the kunyomi variants. You don't see them much other than the ones for 1-4.

Indeed. The fact that I don't get back from college until 6pm severely limits my personal time. As such... the time I used to spend on Japanese and at Tae Kwon Do... has vanished indefinitely.

It's in control panel -> regional+language settings. Search on google. Took me several days to get mine sorted (and a few hours for my girlfriend's... so not explaining it here too ¬¬)

These boards are UTF8 character set derived .. If you're using UTF8 everything should appear as typed .. UTF8 supports all Asian dialects...
