Given the prevalence of music videos on these boards lately, I figured we needed a music thread. Hell, it's about time.

Rules: Post a link to one song that you like (preferably with video), with a short explanation of why you like it. As usual, nothing over PG-13. The song can be from anywhere. I'll start:

For some reason, I've had this song stuck in my head for the past few days. I like it because it has gospel overtones, and I love gospel music.

This one has been in my favorites on youtube for a while now. After seeing the movie amelie, my sister found this. I like it for its simplicity and effectiveness at conveying its message.

i like this song because...when i heard it it changed my view on life...and...why i live...and...the thoughts i get are a bit personal but i usually cry when i think deeply when i hear this song......sry for the personalniss but its why i like it

It may not have changed my view on life... but it is most definitely one of my favourite MikuMiku songs/animations.

Incidentally... redjuice, who did the art for this video and the cover for the CD... is one of my favourite artists. I've followed them on deviantart for quite a while.

ST3 was rather lame, it has to be said. Probably have been better if they cloned the insect war bit from Antz.

Though i will say that Miku isn't very good for European languages. I swaer half of the lyrics were wrong xD
