The Haruhi Manga?

Ok.. I know nothing.. nada.. zip... about the Haruhi manga...
Can anyone do a summary or a review or something on it?
Ya know... like how many Volumes it runs...
Is it still on-going?
How close is it to the anime?
Why are soo many people trying to do that dance in real life?... oops.. scratch that last one...

I read about a chapter and a half of it a while back. There are actually two manga series (the first of which was discontinued almost immediately and its existence is officially denied by the publisher), and the other is still ongoing, I believe.

Frankly, I wouldn't bother with it. It's all of the facts and none of the flavor, and I got bored fast. Just go read the novels.

like Nagato said it's kinda boring. the art sucks and they rushed the the story, over all one of the worst hack jobs I've ever seen in a manga.

if your looking to check it for your self Kawaru-Enishi is translating it. i think there up to chapter 7 or 8 now.

Umm...So why does one of the manga series get denied?
