That's apparently the schedule for the whole rerun. New episodes are the ones with arrows for those who can't read Japanese (like me). If that's correct, the next episode's on the 18th of June. Only problems with it I can see is that there's only 26 episodes on it and that the schedule's not supposed to be released yet. Fake or not, that's all we've got to go on.

And as a little hint at the new episode, apparently something big changes compared to the novel chapter. Theres a link on that page also if you need to look it up. I didn't want to read it because it'd spoil the episode...

Hope Mazui are a decent group. I'll be unhappy if the episode is ruined for me by bad subbing.

That said, i've always been pretty tolerant. At least it'll not be the ugly yellow sub you tend to get on the dvds versions.

Anyway, might be taking a break from fansubbing due to *EVENTS* (yeah, that, don’t ask). Maybe forever? Maybe for a season or two? Who knows.

Will still finish K-ON! WS though.

The other possible schedules postulated by 2ch are not substantially different, with two of the most likely differences from the list shown above is that next week’s episodes will be some sort of conclusion to Endless Eight, and that The Sigh of Haruhi Suzumiya will stretch out over more than 3 episodes, to 4 or even 5.

The episode didn't just deviate from the novels, it didn't cover the Endless Eight story at all. I'd assume the next episode will follow the same events, as this one, only with the whole dejavu thing included this time.

Yeah certainly did not expect a filler-type episode of Haruhi, and while I did enjoy it, I'm actually disappointed deep down. Its like this episode is being treated as a middle of the series ep, which I guess it is. Episode 8 in the current running. Kadokawa: "Season 2? What season 2?"

First of all there was no spring season advertisement for the series, and now its just run of the mill summer holiday fluff with the SOS Brigade.

And that sucks. Completely undermines the fact that this is a new series, and because of this at the time of me writing this bit, there are still no well known subs released. I reckon people are sick of all the prancing around Kadokawa are doing and just cannot be bothered.

This weeks episode was still enjoyable though. Really like the OP and ED. Top notch stuff methinks, and I am open to some fan service as well, but after the last "season 2" episode with the time travel and whatnot, I'm left with a sense of frustration that this weeks episode reminds me more of K-on rather then Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu...

After Just Viewing Endless 8 I'm in agreement.. It's nice to know how Haurhi ram-rodded summer vacation but there could have been more substance to this episode.. yet it was better than nothing...

Hopefully the next episode will be more eventful. Here's why:

The Engless Eight storyline could EASILY be compared to a visual novel... well... if you're me. At any rate...

...this does very much seem like a 'bad end' runthrough.

Imagine, if you will, that you're trying to get one of the side characters in a visual novel. There are far fewer ways to go about it and then only a VERY select few will work. The rest all end in a bad end or the ending for another character.

In this case you're chasing the good Yuki end. It's only accessable after all the other ends have been unlocked and it's the one where you escape the loop once and for all. This would involve certain interactions which will only be able to occur at certain times, which is generally the case for visual novels.

What we saw in this episode was one bad end. Other ones could include Kyon refusing to go, and getting a haruhi-flavoured kick in the face, or maybe one of the characters being injured orb worse.

Maybe another could involve a VERY good Mikuru ending, but that is yet again the wrong one. You wouldn't get your last CG entries in the gallery.

Next episode should be the appropriate 'good end.'

That episode could easily get followed by the proper Endless Eight plot... Which I'm guessing they'll do. It did end with Kyon going to sleep after the end of the summer. I really do wish they'd have next episode previews at the end though.

Three, the Deja Vu episode. I have to admit there were some summers that I wished would never end but Haruhi goes to extremes methinks

She's looking for something to happen but of course is as forth coming as ever on what it is.....

I really liked this episode because it felt weird, but am slightly annoyed that a whole ep is sort of wasted through Kyon figuring out the whole deja vu thing.

I liked how the story conveyed that both Haruhi and Kyon were totally clueless to what was missing in their summer, obviously Kyon was just being a brick and Haruhi didn't consciously realize what she was missing, her subconscious sending plenty of signals though.

And Asahina crying...Yuko could of tried a bit harder, sounded like wailing...

However the star of the show was Yuki, the whole emotionless thing was just a front, the animation style was excellent in conveying the sadness in her eyes at only being an observer. How many times had the gang figured out they were in a time loop? How many times had Kyon run back and tried to talk to her? Countless probably, not to mention pointless too...

Unfortunately if Haruhi became aware then we'd all be screwed, but that's fine too.

...its the SAME DAMN episode as last week. ZERO ADVANCEMENT IN PLOT. Seriously, NONE. What a waste. I know there is meaning to this arc 'Endless Eight' but to have 3 episodes in a row with ZERO change in plot or advancement is so...so...**ARGH**. Someone, anyone, gimme a word for this situation, cos I cant think of any PG-13 words that do any justice.
