Normally I think Masamune Shirow's art is kind of strange and/or perverted, but I gotta give him props for this one.

To see how much I like this, let's take a look at the "Stilts' Illustrated Character Attractiveness Quiz" (SICAQ for short).

2. Is her hair short or pig / twin-tailed? Yes
3. Does she have green eyes? No
4. Does she have moderately large breasts? Yes

7. Is she holding one or more weapons? Yes
8. Is at least one of those weapons a gun? Yes
9. Can you easily imagine her shouting Getter Robo quotes? Yes
10. Does her outfit not inspire laughter or discomfort? No

Wow. Seven points out of a possible ten. That's Rise Kujikawa levels of attraction. I'll let you live, Shirow.

6. Affinity to black+bright colours?
7. Non-fancy underwear?
8. Asian?
9. Flatchested/smallish breasts?
10. Look good in gothic attire?

... I think I may have tailor made those to fit Miku

There's something extremely awkward about that drawing. It looks like a different person did the colouring from the one who did the lineart, which isn't particularly good.

Clearly there are still fanartists out there who love me and want me to be happy. Granted, I could do without the upskirt, but considering Rikku's lack of popularity, I'll take whatever I can get.

Yeah, I know. I'm awesome. That just goes with the territory of being devoted to one character; it gives me the focus I need to amass a comically large fanart collection.

FUN TRIVIA: You'll notice Yuffie is in her Kingdom Hearts costume, and Rikku is wearing a very similar costume. You see, Rikku was the original candidate for plucky member of the Final Fantasy super-team Sora meets in Traverse Town. She was eventually replaced by Yuffie, but not before some concept art was made. And in case you're wondering, yes, I'm still bitter about that. CURSE YOU, NOMURA!
