Anne Freaks

Has anybody here read Anne Freaks? A mate recommended it to be, but I wanted to get a second opinion.

Well, I took a cursory glance at it today and it could probably be described as a suburban thriller with the occasional comedic scene (these made me cringe, however), ultra violence and the moral compass of the characters being quite vague due to the world they live in. So if that's your thing, go ahead.

Also, for some reason this thread reminded me to go check out some of Junji Ito's stuff. Cheers for that.

I read the first volume a LOOOONG time ago... don't remember it, though. I'll take a second look when I get the chance.

I think there are only four volumes, and I don't remember much aside what Ryu mentioned and a vague feeling that the ending was terrible. I read this once like five years ago, though, so take that as you will.
