Mysterious Haruhi Fan

Did it ever happen to you that you were surprised by the fact that some person (IRL, duh) you didn't know, happened to like SHnY? And 'cause it's rare, did you also feel like you wanted to talk to that person about it (like we do on this forum)?

Well sure, it probably happens.

It happened to me once, and it was quite a strange situation. You see, I went to a different place to attend classes, so I was introduced to some new ppl over there. Two professors presented themselves 'n wanted to give a lecture by using a power point presentation. Before they opened the file though, I was watching at the desktop screen, with this picture:



Lol, I was like 'wtf, what's Haruhi doing in a place like this', 'cause those guys looked like...about 50 yrs old..ppl who seemed to be totally into their research 'n stuff; so it kinda freaked me out to think of one of them as a Haruhi-fan XD I can only think of the actual fan as a pervert tho...T_T

Conclusion: I suppose everyone could love SHnY? xD

Now my question to you is: If you felt like you wanted to contact that person, what did you do?

I once knew a person that, as a newbie, thought that people's post count was their age (only for a short while of course... this was on own first forum... never really caught on). Can you imagine the confusion/ =/

Dawn: No, unfortunately that has yet to happen to me. But I hope it does! One time I randomly made a manga reference (that nobody would get) in homeroom, and someone surprisingly told me they knew what I was talking about.

I've tried making Haruhi references, but I haven't caught any fish yet.
