The watermelon has definitely hit the fan. It kind of sucks that it took eight episodes to get to some degree of quality.

Star Driver 22: This is definitely a magical girl show. In other news: god damn.

looks like you guys were right about the kings' pillar revival! Keito got busted this time so Sugata may not let her come back. Also, looks like the Vice President is Kyubey's brother.

I meant to ask you guys this a while ago, but what browser do you usually use for watching video? My computer is a POC so I use chrome if I need to watch something on crunchyroll and it runs pretty smoothly, compared to firefox. Any other preferences/suggestions?

Edit: Level E 9: Hmm, that episode was lacking. Though I'm not entirely sure how you'd get a better resolution.

Fun fact: the singer of the OP, among other things, played the chain and ball wielding psycho schoolgirl in Kill Bill!

Dream Eater Merry 10: Wait she's his childhood friend and not his sister? Then what's the deal with the housing arrangement, when did this all happen?? Also this should have been about episode 3 or 4 because a lot of important stuff is shown to the viewer, such as the fact that one of the main villains is Dormammu, and a whole bunch of important stuff that needs time to germinate, and not just in two episodes.

Hack Quantum 2: This is actually the best .hack series so far, and I've subjected myself to the first series and the games.

JESUS.

Anyway I really liked the call back to the other series in this episode as well as the little detective story that's going down, and thank GOD that sitting on bridges has been kept to a minimum. Also featured girls doing things and a great line for an anime centred around an MMO:

"Just so you know, that avatar isn't a fetish of mine"

Gosick 9: Jesus dude shes like twelve. Also damn everyone but the villains, that one teacher and the people related to Vic are retarded.

Level E 10: I liked it, though there was some really jarring mood changes that didn't mesh together all that well.Still, a fun little story.

Wandering son 8: Anna and Chi are awesome. Am I supposed to be constantly laughing at chiba and the melodrama? 'Cause that's like half the entertainment, watching her get all antsy over the tiniest things and just how awkward things can get.

Man I hope that they explain why Sugata's King now, although I suspect he is double agenting it up. Nice to see Glittering star using tactics again.

Also, I think it would be cool if the final battle was like Lagann-Hen's where

their both powered up and using their ultimate moves, and end up breaking both of their robots, but continue to duke it out with their fists [probably swords in this case],

which links back to Takuto saying that he won't stop until the every cybody is destroyed.

Okay, Glen, you know this stuff better than I and I have to know; is Doi just messing with Nitorin? I have absolutely no idea what is going on with his characterisation at this point and the jerky time skipping doesn't make it any easier.

What you say makes sense, it's just that this seems so far beyond my experience of people messing with me it comes across as bizarre. I mean, yeah in middle school we all get into fights and give each other **** and call people gay and wusses and we're all bros at the end of the day, but going into some dudes house, stealing his stuff and reading his most embarrassing secrets in front of the class? Unless you are a sociopath you must really hate that kid!

That was a flashback to when they were all like ten years old. Doi and his friends had always harassed Nitori and Takatsuki. Nitori having the exchange diary out where they could see it was like Christmas for them. They weren't messing with him, they were flat out bullying him.

Oh really? 'cause I was under the impression that it was part of that whole slew of events! I'm pretty sure it hadn't come up previously so I was like "what?" when Nitorin mentioned it.

Happy, sad? That end part after the credits was certainly ambiguous. To be honest I'm a bit of an optimist when it comes to endings so I'm sticking with Homura has some wicked awesome powers due to being basically a demigod. Also I thought the reconstruction and the wish were pretty clever.
