its amazing what google maps can find. i just looked at my old car from space.

and i sold it a year ago too...

my dad said to me that suddenly google had posted satellite images of melbourne down to a much lower altitude (before you could see squat), and he was right!

once when i was on there was a bit of a bad photo and i sad a jumbo jet plane but it was a bit blury XD (not at an airport but when i was looking for kyoto)

Well...the photos are usually a few years old. I suppose i could put a huge canvas sign on my house saying 'Jasper woz 'ere' and leave it there for four years.

my friends step dad owns a discovery with a sealed sunroof. to stop the sun from shining through there is a cardboard box inside between the inner roof and the window (yeah wth...), so we conspired to get a big black texta and write something that can only be seen if you look down from above the car, just to see if google earth will pick it up one day. since their driveway is in plain view...

Apparantly it's from roughlt 2001/2002 since it'll be the Peugeot 105 or Volkswagen thing.

well i sold my old escort at about this time last year, after owning it for 2 years. Looking at buildings in and around my house, I'd say 2005-6 for the heritage of the photo.

The second image is most definitely too big. Please crop it to adhere to the rules (which can be found fairly simply) if you wish it to be visible in your post.

Wrong answer. It's far better you do it. If the staff have to keep doing it for you it'll fall VERY badly on you. I'd suggest checking the rules... then putting any images, you posted in the catgirls thread, that are too big in links too. I have a feeling there may be one or two.

So yeah... my town, amongst other places, got an overhauled image in GE!

Image went from 2003 to May 8th, 2008! Tis all lush and green, too! :3

I checked GE for Melbourne again, and it hasn't been updated yet. My red car is still in the driveway. Streetview is set 1.5 years ago with my white car, but that was moved on in july...
