Re: Lucky Star
So basically you're telling me to watch a whole anime again just to hear people I can't understand speak... Not gonna happen. When I watched it originally I wasn't really bothered about who was speaking or owt and was in a state of incapability of reading. I got used to the dub voices so stuck with them. I don't see the point of watching the sub. It tells the same story. And, just because it seems like I've given people the impression that I watched Lucky Star dubbed, I didn't. I watched the original version. Aya Hirano is a great VA, don't get me wrong. Loved her as Misa and Konata. I just can't be bothered to watch the sub... Bad lip syncing doesn't bother me...

Re: Lucky Star
well its your loss mate, even if you dont really care about it. it just....hurts to think that the dubbed version is grabbing people out there and making them think its good, when the real thing is beyond good, its....excellent. Evidence of a well written story perhaps.

And I want that.

Re: Lucky Star
My only beef with it is the joints. Other than that, nice figure(ine)!

Re: Lucky Star
Would you prefer the joints were made from genuine cat spleen?

Proof?
And if it's a mech or robot then it doesn't count.

Re: Lucky Star
the trick is to look past the joints, yes they do stick out, but remember this was a close up macro shot. all the details are in full view. besides, the manipulation and different actions more then make up for it. she came with a book, 2 other faces, plenty of different hands and a guide for setting up her poses.Ryoko wrote:My only beef with it is the joints...
reckon ill get either konata or tsukasa next...
