After Ritsu had me watch the toradora MAD... I actually really like the new OP song. hadn't bothered until then to even bat an eyelid about K-On!!... but now, having heard one of the new tracks an seen the OP, I'm quite looking forward to checking out this series, despite my distaste for the first one.

Mostly though i think I just REALLY want Kyo-ani to make me happy again, lik they used to. :<

episode 8 is out.

This one was THE MOST enjoyable to watch so far. It has, like, characterisation and stuff.

How do you think it compares to the first series?

For some reason I'm finding this one somewhat charming, whereas it felt like the studio was banking on the first to be something that would sell the most for the least amount of effort.

Episode 11's out and I found it to be pretty good! Why couldn't the vast majority of the episodes be this entertaining?

Either that or the show becomes vastly more effective after viewing lain.

Although I am not quite as far into the series to have seen the new op and ed, having seen them on this site I'm not too impressed. I didn't really like the other ed really either though... maybe I just don't like Mio.

Welp. Funny story, after work I found out that I cannot rewatch the Fuwa Fuwa Time videoclip from the first season without dying

Well, as cute as this show is, the only real reason I'm still watching it is because I don't want to leave it unfinished. It's just... really boring to me, especially if I've just gotten done watching an episode of Heroman.

It's still decently enjoyable though.

Also, is it just me, or would the most "action" this series has had be the time when the fan exploded?

See, I usually do the opposite. K-ON then Sengoku Basara seems to work much better.

This episode wasn't so bad.
