this anime absolutely ROCKS.
The art, cg, presentation and music are all fantastic. really really well put together. each episode flows from one to the next, necessary because your not gonna stop watching in between episodes

there have been a few series (according to ANN), macross 7 featured a war which leads into the story for frontier. other then that, i dont know.
except that it twas awesome.
