Funny you should mention it, as I just recently (well, semi-recently) got into it myself. I've only seen the first 7 or so episodes, but I've just recently finished chapter 50 of the manga. I don't plan to watch the rest of the anime until I've finished the manga, as It's more fun to watch an anime when you've already read the manga.

All in all, a very awesome series. I love the eccentric art style and character designs.

Pseudo-edit: And let us not forget the kick-ass OP the anime has at the beginning. 'Tis freaking epic.
