Endless Eight arc discussion.

Indeed, it's finally over. It's been 8 damn weeks, it's about time. The first and last episodes where enjoyable... but sticking another 6 in between may have been overkill.

I'm confused as to how i don't find it annoying.

its spontaneous, funny and strange....which is what i was expecting.

Maikeru, what is annoying about it is this:

1 - We wait 3 years for a second season.
2 - It's shown, finally, with no fanfare at all, as if it's nothing worth mentioning.
3 - The animation quality control is nothing like we've come to expect of Kyo-Ani. K-On could at least be put down to a filler series.
4 - Of, we think, 12 episodes... 6 have been exactly the same. That's HALF of the series wasted, with no story progression and nothing notably interesting about each episode. They're all more or less exactly the same.

The 6 repeated episodes themselves are bearable. If it were a series of 50 episodes or so, it'd be fine. It's how it effects the series as a whole that's awful.

You're welcome to your opinion, I was simply stating why other people find it annoying. Whether you find it annoying or not is up to you.

no, I'm used to it so i don't mind.

i think part of the repetition that could have been improved, could have been that one or two of the episodes differ from the rest, as nagato states "The O-ban festival was omitted 467 times"...then why were none of the repetitions different.(besides the differ of speech, action and the stripped frog outfits), it would have made this a little more interesting.

Actually the frog costume was a constant. They were the same every time.

On the other hand... Haruhi's ice cream was blue through 1-6 and orange in 7 and 8.

*silence.....oh...but now i know how attractive yuki look wearing a school swimsuit in animation....so its not all bad.

Hahaha. Seeing Yuki, Mikuru and Haruhi's swimsuits and Yukata were possibly the only reasons I continued to watch every episode.

That and the huge deja vu rushes at the end were pretty cool.

Wait, so theres only gonna be 5ish episodes left of normal stuff??

Going by how many where on the schedule of a channel a while before the airing it's 12 episodes. that, of course, was hastily hidden a while before airing. For all we know it's 35 episodes... but 12 is what we've been led to believe.

12 episodes... minus 8 Endless Eight + 1 Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody.

3 episodes left.
