After the disappointments that were the Star Driver movie and the third Madoka movie (the latter was disappointing to ME, anyway), my cohosts and I were quite relieved that Persona 3: Spring of Birth is actually pretty great. Which is good for me, because I would rather not force you guys to hear me sob uncontrollably.

We’ve been adrift for 3 years with no sign of substantial, original content. Send help.

As you might have guessed, this week we review the Star Driver movie. Our reactions are not what you’d describe as “kind.” Hopefully the first Persona 3 movie won’t create a hat-trick of disappointment.

On the other hand, the rest of the shows that haven’t been culled yet leave us with plenty to gush (and speculate) about.

Mellowship is back from his D&D convention, so I decide to bring back the What’cha Been Doin’ segment to talk about Fourth Edition shenanigans. And also Drakengard 3.

Meanwhile, in the reviews section, we finally give up on Captain Earth and Mekaku City Actors; but we at least take solace in the fact that every other show is stronger than ever. We close out the show by looking over next season’s offerings and making mostly ill-informed, snap judgments.
