We take a break from our regularly scheduled (as much as this podcast does have a schedule) Bakacast to bring you an episode where Ben and I discuss parts 2 & 3 of the Kizumonogatari movies, how well they mesh with Part 1, and strengths and weaknesses of the Monogatari series as a whole. Also: how Hanekawa is seriously underrated.

Hey, have I mentioned I like Shinobu yet?

On this episode of Bakacast, we review a bunch of shows that are fine, I guess, but YO, THAT KIZUMONOGATARI MOVIE IS PRETTY LEGIT, YOU GUYS! The short version is that I loved it, but if you want the long version, I decided to record a separate part of this podcast later in the evening so Megan could join Ben and I. You’ll find that recording (where we talk about the movie for over 40 minutes) stapled to what would normally be the end of our usual podcast. This was partly to make editing easier, but mostly to let people listen to this episode as normal and turn it off at the end if they want to avoid getting spoiled on the movie.
