Anyway, this week is surprisingly positive. Titan doesn’t waste time for once, the end of Monogatari’s first arc isn’t an anti-climax (and is probably the best conclusion an arc of that series has ever had) and Gatchaman proves it’s got substance to go with its style.

Spoilers: the worst thing about it is that there’s only one episode out right now. In other news, our love/hate relationship with Attack on Titan continues as usual, Watamote takes a tumble, and I begin to suspect I have made a poor decision.

Given all the stuff that’s been going on in our respective lives, it’s taken a while for us to get back up and running for summer season. But much like Araragi, even if we’re not always timely, we are at least persistent.

Between Larry and I, we manage to check out most of the shows worth giving a shot this season (and a couple that probably didn’t even deserve a chance). That said, it’s not all ranting and raving. There are some diamonds in this rough–more than we typically expect from the summer, anyway.
