The witch in white fled across the desert, and the magical girl followed.

    • Jon

I met a girl who sang the blues,
And I asked her for some happy news.
But she just smiled and turned away.

I went down to that sacred place,
Where I’d first seen Madoka’s shining face.
But the woman there said that she had gone astray.

In the streets, the witches screamed.
      The demons died, Incubator dreamed.
But not a word was spoken.
The Soul Gems all were broken.

And the one girl to whom the truth was known,
Fought tooth and nail, skull and bone.
She saved us all and died alone.
      The day that Madoka cried.

      And we were singing…

Kaname Madoka flew to the sky,
Erased from our minds, but always nearby.
Humans are born, despair and then die,
      But forever Madoka will fly…

      Forever Madoka will fly.

Ryu, that reference made my day.

  • I’ll raise you one HotD.

    • I never saw the ending of the HSotD, but after seeing this I wonder if this was a reference or nod to Burial Ground – my personal favorite ending to a zombie film ever.
Zombie fans are not ready for this film!

  • Good analysis of the ending.

  • At first I thought this was referring to Homura, but anyway, good end.
But I’ve always thought I was FOREVERALONESOBSOB. That’s life, though. You live, you die, rinse and repeat. Still, it reminded me that people take death for granted. Not that it should always be a burden on your mind, but you just never know, so I’ll just take this opportunity to say I love you. But, if I pry your shield from your hands, take some cash from your back pocket, maybe even pat you on the butt a few times, try not to take it the wrong way. It’s in my nature♥
