The second trailer for Fumihiko Sori’s To has been released, giving us a taste of what the director of the Appleseed film has in store for us now.

To is based on two stories (Symbiotic Planet and Elliptical Orbit) from Yukinobu Hoshino’s 2001 Nights, a science-fiction anthology manga published from 1984 to 1996. Widely considered a classic of hard science fiction, 2001 Nights draws inspiration from other classics like 2001: A Space Odyssey to tell the centuries-spanning story of humanity’s first voyages into our solar system and beyond. The Two DVD will be available for rental starting October 2nd, and the Blu-ray and retail DVD version will ship on December 18th.
