Another day, another episode of Bakacast where we transition from discussing laundry entrepreneurship to a half-vampire dating a sassy high-school senior at a bowling alley. You know, the usual. Also, I get VERY MAD about Rage of Bahamut: Virgin Soul.

About Dustin

Dustin (aka Stilts) enjoys playing and yelling at video games, especially RPGs. He also likes super robot shows… the more outrageous the plot, the better!

While it wasn’t spam, I mentioned on the podcast the last time such videos were posted that both Larry and I would prefer to keep Project Haruhi and Bakacast free from extensive political debate. We’ll certainly dive into politics if we believe it’s relevant to a specific anime or a trend in anime that we’ve been noticing, but we’re not going to discuss politics just to discuss politics. If you really want those questions answered, you can send me a DM on twitter and I’ll give you my own personal opinions; but they are not appropriate questions for Bakacast or this blog.

Sure, that’s what you said about my Jolly Green Giant interactive vore comic, and we all know how that ended up.

  • Now that this season is finally behind us, bringing with it the same sense of euphoria one might experience after an hours’ worth of projectile vomiting, it might be an idea to check out that three part Magus Bride ova in the interim period before the actual tv show hits, for indication whether it’ll be up your alley. I found it solid enough in a Natsume Yuujinchou sort of way, although the actual directing wasn’t quite as impressive as the animation. Still, there’s real potential there, so hopefully this time the hype will lead to something special (unlike this season’s Ballroom, which at this point the majority of the anime community seem to think stinks more than one of those holes at a festival that everyone poos in). Just a suggestion here, not a plea. You are all autonomous individuals; as long as you have intelligence and love and free will within yourselves, I expect you to make your own decisions. Actually, forget I even said anything; it now seems awkward in retrospect. Don’t be weird about this. Larry.

Also, at long last the future-classic-today, Neo Yokio has finally hit Neflix with the force of a thousand toblerone memes. I’d say it looks like Dustin & Luke’s prayers have been answered, but this might be too big for one section. Assemble the League of Audio Entropists: the beacon for help has been lit

now its time for a storm

oh ben since you like economic stuff get a coin base wallet then an wallet and put 10$ worth of eny of them and see what happens

When Ben gets around to talking about the anime he’s been stealth-watching, make sure he tells you about the Centaur’s Worries episode that was an (animal people) Holocaust flashback. Pretty sure that one is the winner for most jarring tone shift in the season.

    The above? Not a joke.
