The Last Airbender Movie

Since Shyamalan is better known as the director of The Sixth Sense and other dark mystical films (that more often then not flopped at the box office i.e. The Happening), I have to admit I have my doubts about his ability to faithfully reproduce and convert a childrens Nickelodeon cartoon to a feature length film. The cartoon series Avatar: The Last Airbender had a lot going for it, and despite being aimed at children, it was one those few series that adults could find enjoyable too.

Judging from the trailers, I'd say its going to be great. I am really looking forward to it!
