And unlike the main characters, all of us managed to survive.

Not only does this episode of Bakacast mark the end of the Winter 2017 season, but it also marks the end of me hosting these things on Libsyn. Starting at the next episode, we’ll be part of the Audio Entropy podcast network. I will, however, still be posting shownotes like this on Project Haruhi in addition to Audio Entropy; and assuming an RSS feed merger works like I think it should, there shouldn’t be a need to swap RSS subscriptions. Ultimately, this change will save me a whole lot of money each year and (hopefully) bring in more listeners for both Bakacast and the podcasts my friends are doing over at Audio Entropy.

No, I didn’t make a typo. I intentionally skipped #315, because I have some of the audio, but Megan’s track did not save properly. I might be able to salvage some of it to release at a later date, but until then I just wanted to edit and release the episodes I didn’t have to do any editing wizardly for. Thus this episode, where Megan and I rant about the Demi-Chan’s portrayal of the succubus character.

We finish off the last of the fall season shows and look back on this year of anime by handing out some awards to our favorite stuff. In addition to the typical Anime of the Year award, we had some extra categories, too: Best Male and Female Characters, Best Soundtrack (with Best OP/ED added at the last minute), Best Style, Biggest Disappointment, and Biggest Surprise.
