Minori Chihara Voyager Train (MV)
More from Minori. I could listen to this kind of music forever…
We’ve been online three years
April fools day 2007 was the day we decided to go live with this site and in the three years we’ve been around a lot of things have happened. We’ve witnessed a second season, movie and Endless Eight. However the future seems pretty dark for this series, yes I know the Second Season is coming over to the U.S. and the Movie will be in English one day as well. As you can see in the past months we’ve changed the look of this site gearing up for the day when Haruhi might not be popular, there are some who say that day has come, maybe it has, I don’t think it has but…
I’m hoping to be here for the long run however long that run might be… Happy third birthday to us. Although coming from myself it might seem a bit self-serving.
Our prayers for a speedy recovery go out to Miss Aya Hirano… You’re missed already…
To Miss Christina Vee, one day you’ll be Haruhi… Right now the establishment doth calleth the shots…
Girls’ Generation “Run Devil Run” MV
At the end of the “Oh!” Music Video we were given a clue concerning a new look and music style for the group. This is the result. I’ll let you be the judge.
Minori Chihara MV’s
Here we feature Minori Chihara the voice of Yuki Nagato. The first music video is indicative of her normal singing style. This bright and cheery number is only excelled by Minori singing in a rain shower.
The next example is done in the style of the Big Band singers of the 1940’s, here Minori performs Paradise Lost used as the opening theme song to the anime Ga-rei -Zero- in which she voices the main character Kagura Tsuchimiya.
Enjoy…
Girls’ Generation / F(x) ‘Chocolate Love’ (MV)
This year we are celebrating Valentines Day a little differently. The song is called ‘Chocolate Love’ something near and dear to those who want something special on valentines day. These two examples are also indicative of chocolate as well, Light and Dark. Enjoy, and from all of us. Happy Valentines Day.
Girls’ Generation “Oh!” MV
This example of the evolution of Girls’ Generation contains more intricate dancing numbers and the almost hypnotizing tune takes you front row for this performance.
There is a surprise ending too.
Haruhi ranked 7th for opening weekend
The Disappearance of Haruhi was shown at a mere 24 screens, and 60,306 watched the movie this weekend. Reviews are still mixed but these numbers rank it 7th in showing for the weekend. So you say 7th? Why not first? Simply put anime movies don’t make into the top ten in their first weekend unless they are established franchises. This initial showing proves the fan base is still there. Here’s hoping once the reviews start coming in, the ‘endless 8’ fiasco will be forgotten.
Maaya Sakamoto celebrates fifteen years of entertaining
Singer, songwriter, voice actress; those words all describe Maaya Sakamoto. She is celebrating her fifteenth year in the business with a new thirty-song greatest hits CD and several concert performances. She can now add a new word to her description; veteran. Approaching her 30th birthday in March she’s spent half her life in the business. In my book that makes you a veteran.
Best wishes from the staff of Project Haruhi on this momentous accomplishment and continued success.
Japan Airlines files for bankruptcy
After citing debts of approximately 2.3 trillion yen (@ 25 Billion U.S.D.). J.A.L. Asia’s largest airline filed for the Japanese version of a U.S. Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Tuesday morning J.S.T.(Japan Standard Time). Job cuts of more than 15,700 and discontinuation of 30 unprofitable routes are part of the deal struck with the Japanese government as part of the Enterprise Turnaround Initiative Corp of Japan (ETIC) take over of the company.
J.A.L.’s market value is reportedly less than the cost of a Boeing 747 ($150 Million U.S.D.) it’s reported that the shareholders will be wiped out and that lenders will forgive about 730 billion yen in debt.
This is the third time in the past ten years that the Japanese government has bailed out J.A.L however this time the current board is required to resign and the E.T.I.C. plans to take the company to profitability by 2013.
In this economic environment, I wish them well…
