First Squad: The Moment of Truth is a theatrical anime collaboration between Studio 4°C and Russian authors with Molot Entertainment. Although no release date is forthcoming as of yet, the film has been completed and shown at several film festivals, including Cannes. If it is released in Russia before Japan or the US, fansubbers may find themselves in the unusual position of having to translate from Russian instead of Japanese…
