My personal world of figurine worship has just become a whole lot more awesome with the arrival of the Kotobukiya figurine of Haruhi Suzumiya. I have had my eyes on this figurine ever since she was released to the drooling market in October of 2008, and indeed my initial thoughts are “She is awesome”.
Today sees the seventh episode of Haruhi’s second season newest series. It also marks the sixth episode of the Endless Eight arc, with no ending in sight. It seems the rumor that it was going to end with the sixth repetition was, in fact, nothing more than a rumor. The arc is set to continue above and beyond six episodes… the likeliest result being eight. While it has been speculated for some time, many of us have been been hoping otherwise.

ANN recently interviewed Kurt Hassler, one of the founders of Yen Press (the company that is releasing the Haruhi light novels in English). During their interview, they turned to the subject of Haruhi. That portion of the interview can be read below.
The chatter on 4chan and AnimeSuki seems to indicate that this weeks episode provides no conclusion to the Endless Eight arc. We’ll wait for official conformation from more reliable sources, and report it when it comes. Stay tuned!
